Prestigious Red Dot Award for Novy Panorama

Novy’s Panorama unit has received the prestigious Red Dot Award for product design. The Red Dot Award is a highly respected international award which has become one of the most important product design labels worldwide. It is the second time that the Belgian company based in Kuurne has received this award. In 2016, the Novy 'One’ unit also received this accolade.

“Winning this second Red Dot Award confirms the success of discreet and user-friendly design combined with high performance. At Novy we see this combination as highly important. Thanks to its adjustable height, the Panorama unit can be adapted to different heights so that it is always close to the source of the fumes. The tower is made from semi-transparent glass, with attractive lines to ensure that it integrates seamlessly integrates with its surroundings. Red Dot: a prestigious label

With more than 11,000 entries from over 50 countries around the world, the Red Dot Award is one of the world's largest international product design competitions. This award from Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Germany has been awarded since 1955.

The Red Dot jury has given the Panorama unit the 'Red Dot' award for its high design quality.

“The Red Dot is the award for designs of high quality. The international jury awards this sought-after prize only to products which clearly rise above similar products with regard to outstanding design", according to the jury.

Design and functionality

The Panoramais Novy’s second kitchen surface ventilation unit - the first being the ‘One’. This unit, consisting of a hob and extractor, has a convenient and stylish ventilation tower at the back of the kitchen surface. It is a prime example of how design and functionality can be perfectly aligned.
